These designs were made for the fictitious brand « zabio », a company making homemade and organic vegan Berliner kebabs. Its consumers are young, dynamic and environmentally conscious. I decided to go for a Berlin inspired fun and edgy look that matches the target’s age. The handmade look of the logo with the letters’ disposition and shape serves to recall the authenticity of the products. The letters’ edges are sharp as if they were cut into paper.
The graphic element at the center of the logo represents a carrot. It makes an ironic reference to the « carrot scream », an argument commonly used to discredit the vegan’s morals. The shape of the carrot also resembles a kebab spit which zabio uses with their false meat. Finally, I chose primary colors for a bigger contrast that will easily be remembered.
